How to Book Your Holiday
Booking a holiday with Silk Road Tours is a straightforward process. The below steps will help to guide you from planning your holiday to setting off on a fully tailor made holiday.
Give us a call, email us, or send us a message. All of our holidays are bespoke are tailored to exactly suit your requirements. So contact us to discuss your holiday requirements – we will then prepare a fully tailor made quote for you under no obligations and aim to get this to you within 48 hours.
Complete the Booking Form
Once you are happy that the itinerary we have prepared for you exactly suits your requirements then please fill in the booking form and return it to us. Please note it is also important at this stage to make sure you have fully read and understood the terms and conditions of booking with Silk Road Tours.
We Will Book Your Holiday
Once we have received the booking form we will proceed and book all the arrangements for you. When all arrangements have been confirmed we will then proceed and take a deposit. The deposit will be £300 per person or 20% of the value of the holiday – whichever is greater. Please note if we are issuing flight tickets for you we may need to take a higher deposit to cover the cost of the tickets.
We Will Issue a Confirmation Invoice
Once all arrangements have been confirmed and the deposit taken we will issue a confirmation invoice to reflect this. We will also send out an updated version of the itinerary with travel notes for the countries to be visited. These travel notes will contain important information about the visa requirements as well as general pre-departure advice. Please ensure you read the travel notes thoroughly.
Final Payment is Due 8 Weeks Before Travel
We will contact you when the final balance is due. Payment can be made by cheque, debit card or credit card. Please note though that credit cards incur a 2% surcharge.
We Will Despatch Final Documents
We will send out your final travel documents with any flight tickets if valid 2-3 weeks before your departure. These will be sent to the address you have specified on your booking form
